Arbor Circle is seeking a Development Director with a passion for and the expertise to support our agency’s mission and services. This full time position is responsible for the oversight of all annual funds, major gift, and planned giving activities including identifying, researching and securing funds available through individuals, foundations, and businesses. Qualified candidates will work collaboratively with a variety of partners from the community, Board, agency leadership, development team and volunteers to promote and engage the community in the agency’s mission. In addition this position will oversee the development department, staff and volunteers and strategize ongoing and sustainable fund development opportunities.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum of three years fund development leadership (5 years preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences
- Knowledge of West Michigan region’s philanthropic community
- Experience with non-profit organizations
- Ability to inspire confidence
- Proven success in managing various volunteer committees
- Ability to supervise staff

The Bridge a short-term residential program serving youth operates on 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift. Position includes crisis intervention, intake/assessment, counseling, groups and support. Bachelor’s degree or near completion and prior experience working with the adolescent population and culturally diverse populations required. Part time position responsible for coordinating Physician schedules, managing high volume of client contact in person and via phone, coordinating tele-psychiatric process, preparing clinical files for Physician appointments, effectively communicating care needs and processes to clients PCP, clinicians etc. This coordinator works as part of a team and coordinates with multiple internal and external programs, Physicians, Psychiatrists, pharmacies and other community partners.
Position requirements include demonstrated program coordination in a high volume medical or behavioral health office, strong knowledge of 3rd party billing requirements, previous experience managing Physician and client flow in a high volume office and strong communication skills. Prior experience in tele-medicine processes and Medical Assistance certification preferred. Some evening hours required.
