Great Start to Quality Western Resource Director

Position Location: Holland, MI

 The Great Start to Quality Western Resource Center Director oversees the work of quality improvement for child care providers in a 9 county region (Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, and Ottawa) and serves as the lead contact with the Early Childhood Investment Corp (ECIC), community partners, the state Office of Great Start, Great Start Collaborative, and Parent Coalitions    This position establishes regional relationships with community partners, coordinates and collaborates work with regional partners serving families with young children and  directs the activity of the Resource Center team, which assists parents to find childcare and preschools in their area, provides information on child day care subsidy,  provides coaching and consultation to child care providers, and provides professional development trainings, networking and support groups, and other resources to providers. 

  Position requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, Health Care Services, Community/Economic Development or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years employment experience in early childhood administration, health services, community/economic development or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood programs, providers and services in 9 county region
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proven experience with data integration and analysis, and evaluation for continuous improvement.
  • Strong Communication Skills

Foster Care Case Manager - Muskegon County

Position Location: Muskegon, MI

Full Time Foster Care Case Manager needed to work with families involved in the foster care system in Muskegon and surrounding Counties.  BSW or related Bachelors’ degree, prior experience working with children and families, prior experience with community based work and knowledge of / experience in Muskegon County required.  Previous foster care/child welfare experience, including CWTI training strongly preferred.

Peer Recovery Specialist - Substance Use Services - Allegan County

Position Location: Allegan, MI

Full time position providing community based peer support in Allegan County.

Primary role of the Peer Recovery specialist is to serve as a role model through face-to-face meetings, to provide ongoing support in a community setting, case management and consultation.  Peer Recovery specialist will use their own history with and knowledge of Substance Use and Co-occurring mental health recovery to support clients.

Position Requirements:

  • Previous life experience with substance use
  • Proven ability to address the recovery needs of individuals
  • Proven ability to share personal recovery journey in a support way, even if recovery path is different from that of the client
  • Experience in / familiarity with Allegan County
  • Valid Driver’s License & auto insurance and acceptable driving history
  • Completion of high school education or equivalent   
  • Current certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or ability to pursue the certification

Outpatient Therapist - Part time - Holland

Position Location:  Holland, MI

MSW/ LMSW - Part time clinical position to provide Mental Health and Substance Use treatment in Ottawa County.  Full License (LMSW) Required. 2 years post master's experience, CAADC or CAADC development plan eligible, proven experience working with diverse populations a must.  Bilingual (Spanish) / Bi-cultural persons encouraged to apply.

Runaway and Homeless Youth Therapist

Position Location:  Grand Rapids, MI

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop rapport and maintain engagement with youth who are experiencing homelessness or are near homelessness
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessment, develop treatment plans, and document client progress towards identified goals
  • Work with youth in a residential shelter-based setting and in the community
  • Support families of youth seeking services to promote safety and reunification
  • Develop and implement person-centered and time-matched goals
  • Assess and develop clinical inferences into client care utilizing various treatment modalities
  • Coordinate services and referrals
  • Collaborate, respond, and support youth in crisis situations demonstrating cultural sensitivity
  • Facilitate treatment planning within a team structure
  • Provide training, support and education to care team member

Requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work 
  • Limited license required with the State of Michigan, full license preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of at risk youth population-including precipitating factors of youth homelessness
  • Proven experience providing  clinical therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and basic need assistance to youth who are experiencing homelessness
  • Demonstrated ability to work within set production based goals for third party billing
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Prior experience in providing Trauma-Informed Care and extensive knowledge of the Positive Youth Development framework.
  • Proven ability to work within a team structure

Therapist – Community Reentry – Part Time

Position Location:  Grand Rapids, MI

Part time Masters level therapist position working with young men ages 18- 26 years old transitioning from jail to successful reentry to the community.   Qualified candidates will possess a master’s degree in social work or related field, have proven experience providing service in the home/community working with substance using / co-occurring populations and experience working with young men involved the corrections system.  State license (LLMSW/LMSW etc.) or eligibility for state license and CAADC / CAADC Development plan, as well as a valid Driver’s license, acceptable driving history and current auto insurance required.   Send resume to cworthem@arborcircle.org

 

Medical Office Support

Position Location:  Grand Rapids, MI

Full time medical office support position for Outpatient Program serving clients with Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder diagnosis.      Proven knowledge and experience in screening and registering clients, insurance verification, authorization, and medical front desk required.  Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service (in person/phone),  strong data entry skills, knowledge of medical office work flow from intake to billing, current experience working with Electronic Medical Record system, and 3+ year previous Medical office experience.   Bilingual (Spanish speaking) strongly preferred.   Send resume and cover letter to eellis@arborcircle.org

Position Location:  Allegan, MI

Bilingual (Spanish) Infant Mental Health Therapist

Position Location: Grand Rapids, MI

> Bridge RCC / Residential Direct Care - Bachelors Level  - Part time:  The Bridge a short-term residential program serving youth operates on 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.   Position includes crisis intervention, intake/assessment, counseling, groups and support. Bachelor’s degree or near completion and prior experience working with the adolescent population and culturally diverse populations required. Qualified candidate will provide flexible schedule availability. Position will include weekend shifts.

>Masters Level Therapist:   We have a wide variety of masters level Therapist positions within our organization.  All masters level positions require a Masters Degree in Social Work or related field, many require full (non limited) licensure and / or other certification (ie CAADC).   If interested in providing Masters level therapy at Arbor Circle, please include information about your level of licensure, certifications and type of position (Community based/outpatient etc.) and populations you wish to work with (Young children, children, adolescents, Adults, Women, Men, SUD diagnosis etc).
