From the President's Desk - Summer 2012

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

The warmer weather and sunny skies are a great excuse to get outside and celebrate the light-filled parts of our lives and community. Maybe you took advantage of local festivities for the Fourth of July holiday, are planning a family reunion or other get-together, or are just finding time to get to the beach and do some summer reading.

At Arbor Circle, we are celebrating, too. We are celebrating more than 160 people who joined us at our spring event, where we shared stories of our community’s resilience and honored Susan Broman for her leadership. We are celebrating new programs and new staff members as we continue our work in Kent, Ottawa and Newaygo Counties. We are celebrating a successful 2011, during which we took our impact to new levels and served 1,000 more people than in 2010, for a total of more than 11,000 individuals and families served.

Some of these stories of success can be found at As you celebrate sunny weather and summer holidays, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating our community’s continued journey toward resilience. We will have more opportunities to connect with Arbor Circle this fall, including an open house at the Bridge. And if you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to our e-newsletter (in the footer of this website) for regular updates on what's happening at Arbor Circle and in our work with the community.

Thank you for your support!

Warm regards,
Jack Greenfield
