As one of West Michigan’s most comprehensive providers of mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and family development programs, it is likely that our paths will cross if you are a professional working in the health and human services field. We look forward to saying hello and always welcome phone calls, one-on-one meetings, or group presentations to learn more about your work and share about ours.
Arbor Circle’s programs and expert team are a trusted resource for many organizations, therapists, and other helping professionals in West Michigan. There are a few reasons we hope professionals like you choose to work with us:
Strong and diverse expertise
Arbor Circle’s breadth of expertise is one of the most important assets we share. More than 170 counselors and 30 mentors are ready to assist you and your clients, and more than 60% of those professionals have Master’s level qualifications. Our specific niches and experiences include everything from early childhood development to youth homelessness to foster care and wraparound services to substance use treatment and more.
Arbor Circle may be a large agency, but our hope is to act with the heart of a small and savvy nonprofit. This makes us eager to work within systems and alongside colleagues to develop the best course of action for clients. We engage community partners in new ideas and initiatives that will better meet emerging needs. Because of our desire to collaborate and our experience in doing so, we find it energizing to meet clients and colleagues of all backgrounds.
A compassionate approach
We think about our work in a special way, and this approach is truly who we are. Like our name suggests, we understand that change is not a straight line. Life is circular, so we build trusting relationships that leave our doors open throughout a client’s journey. We take this approach seriously and share it generously with our clients and fellow professionals. This means we invite creative problem-solving when the situation calls for it, and we’ll never push a template or “quick fix” for the challenges our clients face.
