Process Improvement Manager

Position Location: Grand Rapids, MI


Leadership position responsible for leading both the continuity and connection of billing / reimbursement to clinical activities / program services and the efficient functioning of all reimbursement activities in a multi-site, non-profit behavioral health organization. Position works closely with the program services, electronic health record and billing teams to eliminate inefficiencies and barriers to operational success and develop innovative and sustainable solutions. 

Solid understanding and prior experience in billing and reimbursement, proven ability to analyze and improve work flows, strong communications skills, strong technical skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel) required.      Qualified candidates must thrive in an ever changing environment, serve as an internal change agent,  have a strong understanding of Electronic Health Records systems, have proven ability to foster a welcoming team environment, and proven experience in effectively supervising a diverse team required. Bachelor’s degree in business or behavioral health related field and five years of process improvement experience, including a minimum of one year in a leadership role.
